“Please check the photos. This is the Ogurayama Namito Chunk 30'size from Kyoto Japan. Ogurayama located in North West area in Kyoto between Kameoka and Arashiyama, a mine so called Nishimono
. Good for chef knives, in the process of pre-finishing to finishing. Very Rare & Hard to find Ogurayama itself these days ! The feeling of sharpening with Ogurayama is said slightly tighter & harder than soft Takashima, having a strong abrasive power.
Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they're harder to use.These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate. This is a life time investment for people who lives sharpening their knives and tools, do not hesitate to ask me your questions.”
