When the lever is in neutral position, grab it from the bottom where the logo is and pull out. This will disengage the gear. Now it can be idled at any speed without engaging the gear.
Move the lever back to neutral position and it will snap back to the body of the unit and now you can push/pull forward/reverse to engage the gear.
Body made of strong ABS material
Internal parts are made of stainless steel and bronze
