    Description

    ハタホシ  コマ
    Hatahoshi  (Koma)
    This koma came from Russia
Has Hatahoshi stamp on bottom right
    Extremely  Rare!
The mine closed in 1976, all the "new" were cut from large pieces previously mined and stored in a warehouse. It seems that no more nagura will be mined. The supply on the market will be reduced. As a result, prices for nagura increase every year. Koma nagura is becoming increasingly rare and is extremely expensive. There are private collectors who sometimes buy or sell stones, but the probability of buying these stones is low.
Has a white color 白 Shiro.
The stone is ideally suited for Sharpening razors and polishing Japanese swords. Also for the production of cloisonne (Fr. Cloisonne).
    Size: 203 x 92 x 22mm
    Weight: 972 grams
