FUNCTION -- New HS5167 seal kit for SeaStar front mount hydraulic cylinders. Used to repair leaking or weeping cylinder seals.

Instruction
1. Pull of the bracket and Install the plastic guide sleeve onto the rod
2. slide the cap right onto the rod and hand tighten the cap into the cylinder until you can't tighten it up anymore.
3. Slide the bracket back onto the rods and reinstall all the washers and nuts.
Function
It is important that you inspect the cylinder rod that it has no scratches, nicks or damaged in anyway, if so, the complete cylinder must be replaced.
Failure to replace a damaged steering cylinder will result in seal failure and possible loss of steering.
Do not remove shaft from steering cylinder. Bleeding the system to remove any air, replace with Hydraulic Oil HA5340 only.
Check for smooth operations and full travel of the cylinder. Check for no leaking.
