Description

This beautiful reproduction of a Confederate Cavalry Officer's Sword offers a 33 inch tempered high carbon steel blade and a black carbon steel scabbard and accented with polished 100% brass fittings. Both sides of the blade are beautifully acid etched and marked "CSA" to designate the Confederate States Army and it sports a lot of intricate artworks and designs. The real brass hand guard is marked "CS" for the Confederate States, and the sword has a genuine black leather grip. The comfortable contoured solid hardwood grip has twisted wire inset into grooves in the wood and leather. The handle offers very detailed carvings making this CSA sword a collectors edition, worthy of keeping. The blade is made of tempered high carbon steel and is .173 inches (4.39 mm) thick and 1 1/8 inch (28.78 mm) wide. This sword measure 38.75 inches overall and comes non sharp. The blackened steel and pure brass scabbard can be custom engraved to your likeness. These swords does comes well oil to prevent the carbon steel from rusting.
