Beautiful Antique Chinese Japanese Lacquer Wood Chest of Drawers with Cranes

Antique Chinese or Japanese Lacquer Wood Chest of Drawers. Beautiful piece featuring incredibly detailed handpainted engravings of cranes and mountain landscapes. The top of the chest features 3 cranes walking through the shallows with reeds of grass growing behind them and clouds in the sky. The left side features a mountain landscape of mountain tops in the sky with a temple nestled between rocks and trees. The right side features a rocky landscape with a shrine along the shore. Each of the 3 drawers feature a landscape with the bottom drawer showing a village on the shore with 2 ships sailing away. The other 2 drawers each feature mountain tops in the clouds with trees and buidings nestled between the rocks. Each drawer has a brass pull with a character design, they appear original to the piece. Chest is overall in amazing condition. There is some wear to the lacquer, as to be expected, but is in great shape for its age. There are multiple small chips in the lacquer along edges of the drawers and frame. Some minor scuffing on top. The engravings have little to no wear and the drawer interiors are very clean. The brass pull on the bottom drawer has damage. Please see photos for details.
